Understanding that each idea needs to be nourished, encouraged and supported in order to develop and succeed, the Incubator for Developing Entrepreneurial Activity (IDEA) Center was born. The I.D.E.A. Center is a grassroots 501(c)3 organization designed to facilitate the expansion of entrepreneurial activity in our region.

Committed to a two-pronged approach of creating economic growth and developing students or life-long learners, the I.D.E.A. Center possesses a unique style of moving ideas along the path to commercialization. Combined with a board of mentors, a complementary group of professionals with the passion to assist in our progressive method of development, the I.D.E.A. Center is a valuable source in determining the feasibility and viability of your idea. The I.D.E.A Center will help you balance the personal, emotional attachment to the idea and answer the question: Is your idea something that someone else will pay for?

We are here to identify the process and provide guidance, while the owner still retains responsibility for advancement.

By providing the facilities to incubate an idea and the human resources to nurture those ideas along, the I.D.E.A. Center seeks to allow greater success for those looking to start a business. Whether the path is licensing a product or service or manufacturing a product, the I.D.E.A. Center networks with a number of partners to ensure the right direction and focus are in place. We are committed to results.

Additionally, through our shared services, the I.D.E.A. Center can assist existing businesses in a variety of ways including but not limited to, accounting, human services, facilitation, stimulus package, grant writing and networking. If you have an idea, we hope you will choose the I.D.E.A. Center to assist you. If you share in our passion to help others, we encourage you to join our organization. Collectively, we're one small way to make a big difference.
